60 Films – 60 Days at the VMFA

In conjunction with the Hollywood Costume exhibit now at the VMFA an unusual collection of films:

Unprecedented “60 Films/60 Days” Kicks Off at VMFA
A movie-a-day extravaganza, will be up and running this Friday, November 29.

The Virginia Museum of Fine Arts’ 60 Films / 60 Days gives you the opportunity to see your favorite costumes from the Hollywood Costume exhibition in action, on the big screen. Connect the dots between costume and character with a different Hollywood movie every day.

Everything from classics and contemporary to family and grown-up to cities and Westerns to knights and superheroes to suspense and comedies to music and romance to big stars and little stars and all else but the kitchen sink.

Each movie will have a short introduction by a VMFA staff member.

Mon-Thu, Sat & Sun,1:30 pm
Fridays, 6:30 pm
$5 per movie (separate admission from exhibition)
In Leslie Cheek Theater (or in Reynolds Lecture Hall where indicated with RLH.)
Through January 31.
