Happy Labor Day!

Labor Day first became a federal holiday in 1894 as a celebration of American Workers  and their contributions to the economic growth  and expansion of the American economy. I am off this Labor Day, but there were very many in which I had to work and always felt cheated that I had to work on my own holiday.

So as you go about your business today and meet others who are working wish them a happy Labor Day.

And now a few wise words from my Uncle Savy:

“I don’t want to work,
because when you work you sweat,
and when you sweat you stink
…and I don’t want to stink.”
