Music & Film

Spring is only two months away and the days are already getting longer!

After work on Friday go home take a quick nap then hurry over to the Camel at 9:30 to catch Rattlemouth and the No BS Brass Band.

On Saturday you can catch the Happy Lucky Combo at Ellwoods Cafe from 6-8pm then saddle up the horse and travel north to Ashland Coffee and Tea for the second Djangoary, a Django 3 band festival! Starting at 7pm.

And for once there are tons of good movies in town, “The King’s Speech,” “Black Swan,” “True Grit,” and don’t forget “Tron!”…and that FaceBook movie.

Note that URs International Film Series has moved back to Jepson 118, contrary to what the printed schedule states.

  1. I saw the facebook movie when it first came out- good.
Black Swan, I had to walk out on in the middle. Too grisly.
I want to see King’s Speech. I love Colin Firth.
Did you see Ghost Writer (Roman Polanski)? That’s good.
