NPR’s Three Minute Fiction Contest

NPR’s Three-Minute Fiction contest is back for the sixth round.

Write a short story of 600 words or less that one character tells a joke and another cries, then and send it here.

The judge in this year’s contest is novelist Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie and the deadline is January 23rd at 11:59pm.
