Glorious Glass In The Garden

In between the showers we spent a couple of hours on Wednesday exploring the Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens.

We had seen a show on PBS about the glass artist Hans Godo Frabel a few weeks ago when we discovered he has an exhibit currently at Lewis Ginter.

The exhibit comprises of many of his blown glass pieces of balls, clowns, long fellows, flowers, lizards, masks, and frogs displayed all around the estate in an exhibit called “Glorious Glass in the Garden.”

The exhibit runs through January 10, 2011 and well worth a visit.
